Brick, NJ--Dr. Patrick Keelan, O.D. (Doctor of Optometry) and his wife, Dr. Martha Nguyen-Keelan, O.D., are both graduates of Rutgers University. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to Pennsylvania College of Optometry where they both received their degrees. They are licensed to diagnose and provide treatment for diseases of the eye as well as offering routine eye care examinations. They began their careers in Hoboken, New Jersey however, after a few years they decided to relocate closer to the shore. It wasn’t long after relocating to Brick, New Jersey, when they decided to open their own practice, Keelan Eye Care. With their commitment and dedication to their patients, Keelan Eye Care is thriving as a family owned business. Keelan Eye Care specializes in diagnosing and treating eye infections and ocular diseases that include but are not limited to: glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts, retinal degeneration, and dry eye syndrome. The office is equipped with advanced technology such as, Optos which captures digital retinal photographs and a visual field analysis that helps diagnose and manage glaucoma. With a full staff of professionals, the practice has a state-of-the-art 2,200 square foot facility. This includes two examination rooms, a pre-testing room, a contact lens room, and a fully equipped lab to create and assemble a complete pair of eyeglasses. The optical portion of the practice offers a wide variety of eyeglass frames. With a vast variety of styles to choose from, you can find exactly what you are looking for at Keelan Eye Care! The office participates with various medical and vision insurance plans. However, there are accommodations for those without insurance coverage. There are several promotions offered year round such as, receiving free lenses with the purchase of any frame. Those who wear contact lenses can receive up to a 30% discount on a pair of sunglasses!
