TRENTON--After two heartbreaking losses to start the season, the TCNJ Wrestling team looks to turn its season around with a win at its next meet on Dec. 9 at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

Before then, the team will showcase its talents at the New Standard Invitational on Dec. 2. The Lions are led by seven seniors who hope to end their wrestling career on a high note. Head coach Joe Galante looked on the bright side after the team’s first loss and knows the team is capable of improvement.

“We can take away some positives from those last three bouts and I saw some greatness in some spots,” he told The Signal, TCNJ’s newspaper.

Over the course of the season, TCNJ will have tough opponents to worry about. Muhlenberg College is currently 4-0 this season and keeps on improving, and Delaware Valley University is a team to compete with, with a notable 3-2 record so far this season.

Will the Lions bounce back and have a victorious rest of the season? Or will they fall short and work to rebuild for next year?
